About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and professional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. It must be IA licensed. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality resident care and meeting the rigorous standards set by the state of Iowa.

Requirements

• Current IA CNA License.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the role (lifting, standing for long periods).
• Must hold a current Iowa CNA Certification in good standing. (Verification will be conducted via the Iowa DIA registry).
• Must pass the IA SING Background Check, which includes: Criminal History Sex Offender Registry check Child Abuse Registry check Dependent Adult Abuse Registry check
• Completion of the Dependent Adult Abuse Training (IA Course DS 168) is required.
• Employment is contingent upon successful online verification of credentials.
• Able to work flexible shifts depending on availability (morning, afternoon, or night).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Foster a supportive and empathetic atmosphere for patients and their families.
