About The Position

HomeWell Care Services is seeking CNAs and HHAs for immediate openings. We have a client in Ormond Beach requiring 5 caregivers for 24/7 coverage. Open shifts are 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM and 8:30 PM - 8:30 AM. Interviews are being set up this week, and the client start date is June 1st. The ideal candidate must be caring, able to engage with clients, and reliable. We offer several programs to our clients that fit their needs.

Requirements

Valid certification as a CNA or Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program.
Experience in providing patient care preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.
Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
1-2 years minimum experience as a caregiver.
Must be caring and able to engage with clients.
Reliability and dependability is a must.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Dementia
Experience with ADL's and IADL's
Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
Experience working with patients that have wound management
Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
