The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role specifically focuses on ensuring resident quality of care and comfort through a variety of daily tasks.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant in Oklahoma.
• Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with their activity of daily living needs such as bathing, positioning, etc.
• Taking vital signs from patients, such as temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation rate.
• Talking with residents and relaying their concerns/issues to a supervising nurse or physician.
• Recording observations in a patient chart, which becomes part of his or her ongoing medical record and report any concerns/issues to supervisor.
• Helping to turn or lift disabled patients or those with temporary mobility issues.
• Basic care tasks like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating and exercising.
