This role involves preparing the clinic for patients by stocking exam rooms, setting up equipment, and ensuring supplies are ready. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, conducting screenings, and gathering health information. The CNA will work alongside providers, assisting with procedures, collecting and processing laboratory specimens, and documenting care in the electronic medical record. Patient and family education on procedures, treatments, and self-care is also a key part of the role. Additionally, the CNA will help maintain clinic efficiency by monitoring and ordering supplies, managing inventory, supporting scheduling, and assisting with general office duties. Maintaining communication with teammates to coordinate patient flow and respond to changing demands is essential. Quality and safety are paramount, requiring adherence to RWPC policies, infection control practices, and safety standards, as well as participation in training and quality audits. Maintaining required competencies, including BLS certification, is necessary. Professionalism, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit are expected, whether working independently or as part of a team.
