About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 20 years. We are looking to staff a part-time CNA in Ellicott City for a shift Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM, starting September 10. Pay is $22/hour. Candidates must be a CNA with more than 3 years of experience and have experience using a stand lift. Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide service for a client in your local area. Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience
- Experience using a stand lift
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to understand care plans and assessments
- Current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
Responsibilities
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation
- Monitor BP and glucose levels
- Aiding with activities of daily living
- Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
- Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
