Requirements

Current CNA Certification
Completion of all applicable training requirements

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with residents’ daily personal care and hygiene needs
Offer support, supervision, and meaningful companionship
Administer routine medications in accordance with state guidelines
Assist with developing and updating individualized resident service plans
Build positive relationships with residents and their families
Communicate professionally and effectively with residents, families, and fellow team members
Help create a warm, welcoming, and uplifting environment where residents feel at home
Support residents with mobility, transfers, and daily activities
Assist with meals and monitor residents’ dietary needs
Take and record vital signs and weights as directed
Observe and report changes in residents’ condition or behavior
Follow individualized care/service plans
Assist with medication routines in accordance with state guideline
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Complete accurate resident care documentation
Participate in activities and promote meaningful resident engagement
Communicate professionally with residents, families, and the care team
Protect residents’ dignity, privacy, and rights
