About The Position
Work as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) on the L&D unit with pregnant and post-partum mothers in a 38-bed unit. Responsibilities include performing basic CNA skills and vital sign monitoring.
Requirements
- Required Certifications: CNA (WA) and BLS
- Skills in all areas taught within the CNA role, including basic vital signs
Responsibilities
- Perform blood sugars and insertion of straight catheter
- Assist with EKGs, insertion or removal of IVs
- Answer unit phones and call lights
- Prepare charts and take maternal vital signs
- Assist post-partum mothers with ambulation
