About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in a supportive community setting. The CNA plays a vital role in promoting resident dignity, independence, safety, and overall well-being by assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring resident needs, and fostering meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, and committed to creating a positive and homelike environment for every resident.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing (required).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as required by the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living preferred.
  • Knowledge of resident care practices, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transferring, and mobility support.
  • Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs while respecting individual preferences and care plans.
  • Support residents in maintaining independence and participating in daily routines whenever possible.
  • Encourage resident engagement through social, recreational, and wellness activities.
  • Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition, behavior, or needs to the nurse or supervisor.
  • Administer medications and perform delegated nursing tasks in accordance with RN delegation requirements, state regulations, and community policies.
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Promote resident rights, confidentiality, dignity, and quality of life at all times.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of care, services provided, and resident observations.
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
  • Participate in required training, continuing education, and staff meetings.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, organizing resident living spaces, and maintaining clean common areas.
  • Assist in creating a welcoming, safe, and comfortable home-like environment for residents and visitors.
