About The Position
Specific duties for CNAs include, but are not limited to, assisting students with activities of daily living (ADL) including toileting, feeding assistance, mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene, assisting with ambulation and student comfort needs, assisting with non-clinical health office support functions, and observing and reporting student concerns or changes to a registered nurse.

- BLS required
- Competency exam-80% to pass
Responsibilities
- Assisting students with activities of daily living (ADL) including toileting, feeding assistance, mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene
- Assisting with ambulation and student comfort needs
- Assisting with non-clinical health office support functions
- Observing and reporting student concerns or changes to a registered nurse
- Demonstrate Clinical Skills: Handwashing, Vital Signs, Measuring and documenting intake/output and urinary output, Infection prevention and control (hand hygiene, standard precautions, PPE), ADL's, Transfers, Ambulation with gait belt, Positioning and turning, Range of motion exercises, Observation and reporting of changes in condition, Documentation of care provided, Communication with residents and the healthcare team
