Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required)
Must be 18 years or older (required)
Current and active New Jersey CNA certification or enrollment in New Jersey CNA program (required)
Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
Applicants may be subject to a background check.
Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Experience working in long-term care setting (preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

Support residents with daily living activities, including personal appearance, hygiene, dressing, and general well-being
Follow individualized service plans and maintain accurate records to ensure quality support and communication among team members
Conduct routine resident check-ins to promote comfort, safety, and engagement throughout the day
Assist residents during meals and provide support with movement and the use of mobility aids when needed
Foster positive relationships with residents while working closely with colleagues to create a welcoming community environment
Share resident preferences and observations with appropriate team members and notify nursing staff of any notable changes or concerns
