About The Position
To provide direct resident care duties under the supervision of the licensed nursing staff. Assist in maintaining a positive physical, mental, and psychosocial environment for the residents.
Requirements
- Mississippi C.N.A. Certification
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living (ADL’s) including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, oral care, hair care, nail care and skin care.
- Assist with range of motion, turning, positioning, ambulation and assistive devices.
- Serve and assist with meals and supplements; offer fluids every 2 hours unless otherwise indicated and document food and fluid intake.
- Assist with Bowel/Bladder Training Program.
- Take and record vitals, heights, and weights.
- Assist in maintaining resident ’s environment.
- Read and follow resident ADL care plan.
- Follow assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures.
- Observe resident for changes in condition and report to the charge nurse.
