About The Position
We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for full-time positions within a senior living and long-term care setting in Connecticut. CNAs will provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, supporting residents with daily living activities and clinical monitoring.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut CNA certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care or senior living experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Support safe patient transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to residents and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in compliance with facility standards
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings as required
