About The Position
Kāhala Nui, considered Hawaiʻi’s premier senior living community, is looking for dedicated part time and full-time CNAs to join our team. Available shifts: DAY (6:00AM - 2:30PM); EVENING (2:00PM - 10:30PM) Must be available Sunday through Saturday, including weekends and holidays. POSITIONS SUMMARY: Assist residents with their ADLs to ensure that they are receiving person-centered care and service in the Skilled Nursing (SNF) department.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have Hawaii CNA Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with residents and families.
- Ability to follow care plans, policies and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely, including standing, bending and prolonged walking or standing.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
- Proof of valid CPR and First Aid certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving, resident care, assisted living, healthcare, or a related field.
