About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care and support to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, follow individualized care plans, promote resident safety and dignity, and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Current CNA certification required
Current CPR and First Aid certification required
Dementia and Mental Health Training
Food Handler's Card
Compassionate, patient, dependable, and willing to learn
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
Previous dementia or memory care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist residents with grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility
Follow individualized resident care plans and accurately document observations and care provided
Assist residents with meals, dining, recreational activities, and other daily routines
Promote resident dignity, independence, comfort, and safety
Follow infection control procedures and proper body mechanics
Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide support to other caregivers as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition
Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation according to company policy and state regulations
Communicate effectively with nurses, managers, coworkers, residents, and families
Perform other duties as assigned
