CNA: Part & Full Time Positions (including Live-In)
About The Position
Freedom Home Care is seeking CNAs for part-time and full-time positions, including live-in roles, to join their caregiving team throughout most of Maryland. The role involves providing hands-on personal care and various home care services to clients.
Requirements
- High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (In person class required)
- Current CNA license
- Complete a criminal background check
- Must have PPD or chest x-ray
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile for transportation for the job
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to lift 150 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional or personal caregiving experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Personal Care services including bathing, dressing, assistance with toileting, etc.
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal planning, preparation and cooking
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Medication reminders and/or management
- Prescription pick-up
- Other home care needs
