About The Position

Join the BrightStar Care Team as an In-Home Caregiver! BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide one-on-one care for clients in the comfort of their own homes. We currently have a variety of 12-hour daytime shifts available, with opportunities to work up to full-time hours based on your availability and preferences. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Requirements

A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
