About The Position
This is an Earn While You Learn opportunity that combines comprehensive classroom instruction, hands-on clinical experience, and real-world skills development in a supportive environment. Our program prepares students with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to succeed as a CNA. Upon successful completion of the course and passing the Maine CNA competency exam, graduates will qualify to pursue full-time or part-time employment opportunities.
Requirements
- Submit a current resume
- Submit a cover letter explaining why you would be a strong fit for the CNA program
- Submit two letters of recommendation from a former supervisor, manager, teacher, coach, mentor, etc.
- Successfully pass the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) exam
- Complete interview with Clinical Instructor
- Complete a Pre-Hire Employment Screening
- Successfully pass CASAS Reading/Comprehension
