This gives you valuable hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while earning a paycheck—then you’ll step right into the CNA course, fully prepared.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be hired as a part-time employee at The Gardens at Orangeville until class begins.
• Must have reliable transportation to Mount Carmel Senior Living Community for training.
• Mandatory attendance for all training sessions (any missed days result in automatic failure).

Responsibilities

• Work part-time in a non-certified role (such as dietary or housekeeping) at our facility before the CNA program begins.
• Attend all mandatory CNA training sessions.
• Gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.
