As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), you will work under the direct supervision of licensed personnel to provide essential patient care. Your responsibilities will include feeding patients, monitoring vital signs, collecting specimens, responding to patient needs, and transporting patients. You will also be responsible for acquiring necessary equipment for procedures, explaining procedures to patients and families, cleaning equipment and meal trays, and restoring rooms after patient discharge. Additionally, you will assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility as directed by therapy staff, and help maintain a clean and safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or LVN in charge. This role reports directly to the Director of the Surgical Unit.
