Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley's capacity tripled following a major expansion, now housing 171 beds to serve the growing community. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission. Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program
• State registered CNA license

Nice To Haves

• Six (6) months previous CNA or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.
• Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs.
• Reports patient status changes and needs to Registered Nurse accurately and in a timely manner.
• Accurately documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed and reports findings promptly to Registered Nurse.
• Maintains thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.
• Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by the nurse.
• Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.
• Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the health care team.
