About The Position

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being. Requirements

  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program upon hire
  • Successful completion of MECC sub-acute exam to work sub-acute wings, upon hire
  • Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
  • Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Operates IVAC thermometer, vital check machine, blood pressure cuff. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Six (6) months of recent hospital experience as a CNA, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Patient hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, pack rubs).
  • Documentation of baseline date (vital signs, intake and output).
  • Knowledge of mobility and precautions for orthopedic patients.
  • Skin care for immobilized patients.
  • Uses proper techniques and/or equipment to ambulate, lift, move, position, and transport patients.
