About The Position
The Nursing Assistant provides direct, basic patient care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse. The role also includes caring for and cleaning specific equipment, stocking supplies and equipment, and transporting patients, supplies, and equipment. This is a full-time, day-shift position with an 8-hour shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- CNA/NJ certification or registration required.
- At least 1 year of patient care experience in long-term care or subacute care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, basic patient care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Care for and clean specific equipment.
- Stock supplies and equipment.
- Transport patients, supplies, and equipment.
