About The Position
The CNA Rehab and Nursing position is responsible for the overall support services for the staff scheduling process. This role requires good communication skills with staff and involves performing the scheduling function as directed. The CNA will work collaboratively with other personnel in matters related to scheduling coverage aspects of patient care and will assist with patient scheduling as needed. The position also involves completing all functions of the staff scheduling process, such as managing the block schedule and vacation calendar, and transcribing scheduling information and staff schedules in a timely manner. The facility is a 165-bed unit with two floors, providing care for long-term residents and post-acute rehabilitation patients. It offers integrated services with a mission to provide goal-oriented, compassionate care for patients to live healthy and active lives. The center is located on a 10-acre campus with indoor and outdoor spaces designed to improve independence, strength, and confidence. Patient rooms are mostly private with attached bathrooms and showers, televisions, phones, and large windows. Each unit has a large living and dining space with menu-based meal service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
- CRT-Nursing Assistant - Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems within 90 days
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall support services for staff scheduling process.
- Communicates well with staff.
- Performs the scheduling function as directed.
- Works collaboratively with other personnel in matters related to scheduling coverage aspects of patient care.
- Assists with patient scheduling function as needed.
- Completes all functions of the staff scheduling process (i.e. block schedule, vacation calendar etc.).
- Transcribes scheduling information, staff schedules in a timely manner.
