About The Position
The Rehab and Nursing Center-Kentridge is located on a 10-acre campus with indoor and outdoor spaces designed to provide opportunities for improving independence, strength, and confidence. Most patient rooms are private and have an attached bathroom and shower, television with cable, phone, and a large window. Each unit has a large and accessible living and dining space, and a menu-based meal service is provided. The unit has 2 floors and 165 beds, providing care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population served. The unit has a long-term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries and cancer. It offers integrated services with a common mission: to provide goal-oriented, compassionate care while living a healthy and active life to the greatest level possible.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
- CRT-Nursing Assistant - Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems within 90 days
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall support services for staff scheduling process.
- Performs the scheduling function as directed.
- Works collaboratively with other personnel in matters related to scheduling coverage aspects of patient care.
- Assists with patient scheduling function as needed.
- Completes all functions of the staff scheduling process (i.e. block schedule, vacation calendar etc.).
- Transcribes scheduling information, staff schedules in a timely manner.
