About The Position
Holy Cross Hospital - Davis, founded in 1976, is a 220-bed hospital serving northern Utah. The hospital offers a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a comfortable patient experience. The Weber Campus, a new 16,000-square-foot facility, provides emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. The organization values its CNAs and has developed a career path framework for them to move, develop, and advance into nursing and other roles.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- High School diploma or GED required
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
- State registered CNA license required
Nice To Haves
- Six months previous CNA experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds
Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.
