About The Position

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is looking for a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to provide direct, one-on-one care to medically fragile individuals in Arden, NC and surrounding areas. CNAs at Angels of Care have the opportunity to focus on patient care and make a difference in the lives of their patients and families. The role offers flexible and predictable schedules with full support available anytime, day or night. This position involves full-time and part-time shifts.

Requirements

• Valid Certified Nursing Aide I or II certification
• Copy of TB test
• Current CPR
• Valid state identification
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must display good emotional health and be able to physically tolerate standing, bending, and lifting within guidelines and teaching provided by the state
• Must be able to read and follow written instructions and document care as directed
• Must demonstrate a cooperative attitude toward providing services
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to make a positive and lasting impression
• Physical ability to walk, lift, bend, kneel, see, hear, and speak clearly

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, etc.)
• Range of motion activities
• Bolus feeding
• Catheterization
• Oral/Nasal suctioning
• Oxygen administration
