About The Position
As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Requirements
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program
- Oregon CNA License
- AHA BLS within 30 days
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a hospital setting
- 6 months related work experience
Responsibilities
- Passes and picks up meal trays and provides additional nutritional support as needed.
- Responsible for ADL activities including turning or position change, bathing, grooming, linen changes, toileting and ambulation.
- Observes vital signs and records intake and output.
- Reports any abnormal findings or changes in patient condition or mentation to the RN.
- Responds to call lights/alarms and rounds on a regular basis to ensure patient needs are met.
