About The Position

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) is seeking a Part-Time CNA for Night shifts. LWRMC is an award-winning acute-care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, known for its high quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. The Job Overview describes the role as assuming responsibility for facilitating and enhancing the delivery of patient care and the patient experience under the direction of the RN. Duties include patient care, activities of daily living, and general support duties such as clerical, stocking, courier, and transport. The role requires demonstrating Service Excellence at all times. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at start date.
• CNA Certification required.
• Demonstrated track record for excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• For Emergency Room, CPI required within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as Unit Secretary/ Nursing Assistant, Medic or EMT/Paramedic, preferred.
