CNA/PCT - Perioperative Care Unit (PCU) 0.75 FTE/Evenings
About The Position
Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: - Hourly $24.95 - $36.91 Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is currently seeking Patient Care Technicians (CNA) for our Perioperative Care Unit . This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. 0.75 FTE /30 hours per week 10 hour evening shift / Schedule TBD
Requirements
- Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience.
- 1+ year working in a hospital environment as a CNA strongly preferred.
- Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire)
- Health Care Provider CPR Certification required.
- One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred.
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
