CNA/PCA (FM)
About The Position
The PCA/CNA will take vital signs, directs patients to proper exam/treatment room, and ensures all medications are up-to date. Prepares patients for examinations and other procedures. Assists physician with procedures as directed. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 7 – 11 months related experience and/or training
- If CNA, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Responsibilities
- Take vital signs, direct patients to proper exam/treatment room, and ensure all medications are up to- date.
- Prepare patients for examinations and other procedures
- Assist physician with procedures as directed
- Make sure current incentive program requirements are addressed and met as appropriately delegated to the check in process
- Review daily schedules to ensure productive clinic flow
- Direct patient to proper exam/treatment room; prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs, and document patients’ reason for appointment
- Instruct patients in all appropriate procedures
