About The Position
BrightStar Care of Midtown Raleigh has an immediate need for CNA's and PCA's for new cases in the Durham area. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team, which is recognized as the number 1 home care agency in the triangle area. This role involves providing essential care to clients in their homes.
Requirements
- Hoyer Lift Experience Required
- Valid NC License for CNAs or Proof of Work Experience for PCAs
- Current TB Test
- Current CPR Certification
- Successful Completion of All State Mandated Training
- NC Drivers License, Insurance and Reliable Transportation
- Has to be willing to transport clients
- Outstanding Communication Skills
- A positive and professional attitude and a great personality

Responsibilities
- Provide companion and personal care to clients
- Document plan of care requirements and time and attendance
- Input shift availability at least 2 weeks in advance
- Start shift on-time and complete all plan of care tasks
- Notify the Director of Nursing of client changes or concerns
- Provide a safe environment and promote quality care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standards
- Respond rapidly and appropriately in an emergency situation
- Use equipment properly and in a safe manner
