Requirements

  • Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong desire to help and support others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to care
  • Dependable transportation and ability to travel to client homes
  • Must be able to pass a background screening

Responsibilities

  • Remind clients to take prescribed medications
  • Assist with mobility and movement within the home
  • Support personal care and hygiene needs
  • Prepare simple, nutritious meals
  • Complete light housekeeping duties
  • Offer companionship and meaningful conversation
  • Assist with daily household routines and activities
