About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will ensure that those we serve receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. This role is per-diem with a rate of $30.00 hourly. The Adult Day Center/Parker at the Pavilion is recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey". The position requires a minimum of two shifts per month, with flexibility to work at other Centers. Parker offers two Adult Day programs in Highland Park designed to combat loneliness and isolation in elders aging at home. The Social Program focuses on varied and vibrant activities, while the Medical Program offers individualized medication administration, support services, personal and therapeutic care. The nursing staff and social workers create individualized care plans, and participants benefit from peer relationships and socialization.

Requirements

Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certification from the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services, in good standing
High School graduate or GED required
Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful and confidential manner
Ability to read, write, and be understood in the English language
Flu vaccine required during flu season
