About The Position
The Pavilion Adult Day Center/Parker at the Pavilion in Highland Park offers high-quality adult day services in a warm and compassionate environment. This per-diem position involves working Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a minimum of two shifts per month as needed. Flexibility to work at other Centers is also required. Requirements
- Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certification from the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services, in good standing.
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful and confidential manner.
- Ability to read, write, and be understood in the English language.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to participants in an adult day center setting.
- Administer medication as needed.
- Provide support services, personal and therapeutic care.
- Conduct blood pressure checks.
- Manage medication.
- Engage with program participants to foster socialization and peer relationships.
