About The Position
Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare is looking for a CNA or PCA to become part of our team and join our mission of providing quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population. This role involves providing companionship, emotional support, and assisting clients with daily living activities as outlined in their Client Service Plan. The position offers varying shifts and flexible scheduling to meet caregiver needs, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time hours.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Current CNA License or PCA Certificate Holder
- Must be able to pass a Virginia State Police background check
- State-required Reference Checks
- 1 year caregiver experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare agency setting
- Valid driver’s license/state ID and reliable daily transportation
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Adequate physical endurance
Responsibilities
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Housekeeping
- Assists clients with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair or Hoyer Lift (specific to client)
- Assists clients with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Assists clients with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
- Report on any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan
