The Clinical Support Unit (CSU) is a dynamic department that provides a high-quality float pool experience to the departments and patients we serve. This role is ideal for CNAs and Nurse Apprentices who enjoy variety, continuous learning, and the opportunity to work alongside multiple specialty teams across the health system. CSU team members are energetic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting St. Luke's mission while gaining broad clinical experience in diverse care settings.

Requirements

Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice
CPR and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
High School Diploma or equivalent (for Nurse Apprentice)
Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditation) (for Nurse Apprentice)
CPR and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification (for Nurse Apprentice)
0 years experience required (for Nurse Apprentice)

Responsibilities

Support patients across Treasure Valley locations including Boise, Meridian, and Nampa, while building experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Rehabilitation units
Expand clinical knowledge and skillset with opportunities to train and float to specialty areas such as Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Women's Services, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and the Infusion Center
Work alongside experienced nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary teams while caring for a diverse patient population
