About The Position

Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey, part of AcuteCare Health System, is seeking compassionate and skilled CNAs to join our growing team. We specialize in caring for high-acuity, post-ICU patients and are committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on patient satisfaction and quality care. This is a full-time position working nights with 12-hour shifts, where you will work with complex, high-acuity patient populations in a specialty hospital setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification preferred
• Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other patient care data as directed
• Assist nursing staff with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and repositioning
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Ensure patient rooms and care areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Support infection prevention and safety protocols
• Provide compassionate care and excellent customer service to patients and families
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
