About The Position
Benedictine offers a sponsored CNA-NAR training program where you can earn while you learn, setting you on a path to a long-lasting career. As an associate, you will be provided with the necessary tools and skills to succeed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The training is free of charge, and you will be paid and earn a certification during the training period.
Requirements
- Must currently be enrolled in and attending a CNA-NAR training program or be hired into a Benedictine NA training program.
- Must be eligible to be on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity pending successful completion of training.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled classes and successfully pass the state-required certification test.
- Collect initial and ongoing data on all residents and report the condition and changes to the RN or LPN.
- Communicate and interact with residents, families, and other health team members.
