About The Position

Trinity Terrace is seeking Full-Time CNAs for our Assisted Living/Memory Support Department. Trinity Terrace is a beautiful and vibrant senior living community that has been serving Fort Worth seniors for over 100 years. The role involves providing assistance with daily living activities, promoting patient health, hygiene, mobility, and nutritional intake. The CNA will also collect patient data, document care, report abnormalities to the licensed nurse, promote continuity of care, and provide support for medical staff and patients under supervision.

Requirements

  • Current certification by the Texas State Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • First aid card and CPR certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a long term care facility as a CNA is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance in activities of daily living and complete necessary tasks to promote patient health, including assisting patients with basic hygiene needs, maintaining an optimum level of mobility and assisting patients with nutritional intake, as needed
  • Collect patient data, including vital signs, input/output and other delegated measurements in accordance with unit/facility policy and standards of care
  • Document objective data and routine aspects of patient care
  • Recognize and report abnormalities and/or changes in the patient’s health status and responses to treatment to the licensed nurse
  • Promote continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for which care is provided
  • Provide necessary supplies, support and assistance to medical staff and patients for unit specific procedures, under the direct supervision of a licensed professional
