CNA/MedTech - PT - 3rd shift
About The Position
Moosehaven is a private membership retirement community located on the banks of the St Johns River, in Orange Park, Florida. Moosehaven provides seniors 65 and older with a comfortable and secure retirement option, offering a full range of programs and services. Residents benefit from social interaction and support services within a community that has served members of the Loyal Order of Moose since 1922. Moosehaven is seeking a part-time CNA/MedTech for the 3rd shift, working 8 hours per week on a schedule of 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, including every other Saturday and Sunday, in the ELF Unit.
Requirements
- Valid Med Tech Certification (online 6-hour course not accepted).
- Valid CNA license.
- Valid CPR / BLS certification (online certifications not accepted).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a retirement community or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide direct resident care, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Document resident care and observations accurately.
- Assist with resident activities and social engagement.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
