About The Position

This is a part-time CNA/Med Tech position in Assisted Living, requiring work every other weekend. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining hygiene, administering medication, and ensuring resident safety and well-being. Requirements

• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant and Med Tech in accordance with laws of Florida.
• Must be CPR Certified.
• Background screening through the State of Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.

Nice To Haves

• Working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with Daily Living Activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfer, ambulation, toileting and other resident needs.
• Ensure beds are made, trash is removed, meals are served, and a high level of hygiene is maintained in resident rooms.
• Take vital signs and report observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
• Administer medication to residents as prescribed by their doctor.
• Practice Infection Prevention and Control measures in compliance with Federal, State and Facility requirements.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet timely, accurately and completely.
• Make routine and frequent rounds to ensure safety precautions/equipment are in place and in working order.
• Prevent skin problems or breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning of residents.
• Assist the Activities Department with resident activities.
