Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Current Virginia State Certified Nursing Assistant License, Direct Care Certification OR Personal Care Aid Certification
  • Current Virginia State Medication Aid License
  • Current BLS certification required within 60 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of experience as a CNA & Medication Aide is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support in a dignified manner
  • Administer scheduled medications in accordance with certification, physician orders, and facility policies, and document appropriately
  • Monitor, record, and report resident health status, changes in condition, and vital signs to nursing staff
  • Support residents with meals, hydration, and basic nutritional needs, including feeding assistance when required
  • Promote a safe, clean, and home-like environment while ensuring compliance with infection control and safety procedures
