About The Position
This position requires an active South Dakota CNA certification and recent Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience is preferred. The role involves assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including mobility, transfers, toileting, feeding, and personal care. The CNA will also be responsible for obtaining and documenting vital signs and promptly reporting any changes in resident condition to nursing staff. Experience caring for geriatric and long-term care populations is preferred, along with strong skills in resident safety, infection control, communication, and teamwork. Candidates must successfully complete background checks and drug screenings, which may take 7-10 business days for facility screening results. The assignment is for 13 weeks.
Requirements
- Active South Dakota CNA certification
- Ability to obtain and document vital signs and promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Must successfully complete both agency and facility-required background checks and drug screenings
- Must be available to work 4x12-hour day/night shifts (6:00 AM–6:30 PM)
- Must be available to start within 2 weeks of offer or ASAP upon compliance clearance
- Must be available for a 13-week assignment
