About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking CNA – Long Term Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in Ellendale, ND. This is a contract position for 13 weeks, with variable days and 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.
Requirements
- Active North Dakota CNA License
- Minimum 2 years of CNA experience required
- Current BLS Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced LTC environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning to help prevent pressure injuries
- Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations
- Assist residents with feeding, hydration, and monitoring dietary intake
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain infection control standards, including proper PPE usage and hand hygiene
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and patient care needs
- Provide compassionate care while promoting resident comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and communication with the healthcare team
