CNA - Long Term Care/SNF
About The Position
This position is for a Certified Nursing Assistant working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility setting with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The CNA provides direct daily care to residents who require assistance due to chronic illness, rehabilitation needs, or age-related conditions. The role focuses on supporting residents’ comfort, dignity, and safety while assisting with routine care and daily activities. The CNA works closely with nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure residents receive consistent and compassionate care in a long-term care environment.
Requirements
- Must hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the appropriate state.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic patient care, infection control practices, and resident safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
- Must be able to document patient care activities accurately.
- Must follow facility policies and healthcare regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility, skilled nursing facility, or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
