About The Position
Aloma Healthcare, Inc. is seeking experienced and compassionate caregivers with a heart for seniors for an immediate opening in the 77351 area. The role involves providing comprehensive care, including personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, meal preparation, housekeeping, and companion care. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care services to individuals with disabilities, injuries, mobility difficulties, or illnesses. Our agency is certified, licensed, insured, and bonded, and we pride ourselves on taking care of our clients to the next level.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1yr prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- High School Diploma/Equivalent or Experience as a Caregiver (CNA preferred)
- Enjoy giving clients the above and beyond "wow" factor
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Pleasant and customer-friendly, self-starter, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently on your own
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
- Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, grocery shopping, etc.)
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving
