This position supports patients/residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. The CNA I will take vital signs, height, and weight measurements, and maintain patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition. They will observe and report changes in patient conditions, orient patients and families to the unit, and instruct patients on safety measures. Additionally, the role involves assisting with clerical tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and maintaining medical records, as well as managing stock supply items. The CNA I will perform duties within the scope of the Nurse Aide I (per applicable state Board of Nursing Nurse Aide I Tasks List) and may perform technical tasks with appropriate training, such as administering a 12-Lead Electrocardiogram test and routine venipuncture.
