About The Position
The Hospice Aide takes personal care of the patient and completes other simple procedures pertaining to hospice care under the direction of the registered nurse.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of hospice care experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Indiana CNA license required according to federal, state, and local guidelines
- Compassionate
- Ability to read and communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to accept and follow directions
- Complete certification and competency testing according to federal, state, and local standards
- CPR certified
- 100 point HHA test
