FT/PT Nights-CNA/HHC/DSP Lutz Area facility hiring
About The Position
5 Star Cares is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide exceptional care in their residential group homes. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position is located in Lutz, FL, and involves a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience and certification.
Requirements
- Part-time work two days a week and every other weekend
- Full-time work three days a week and every other weekend
- Minimum 2 years of exp in acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting
- Current BLS/CPR and First Aid Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist individuals up to 50 pounds
- Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 Background Screening

- Experience supporting individuals with higher-acuity needs preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with higher-acuity needs
- Monitor and report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality
- Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
