Lutz facility hiring CNA/HHC/DSP/PCA-Full and Part-time days
About The Position
5 Star Cares is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our PRN team. If you enjoy providing quality, person-centered care in a supportive environment, we'd love to meet you. The available positions are for both part-time and full-time day shifts, with scheduled 12-hour shifts (6a-6p). Rotating weekends are required for both part-time and full-time roles. Part-time employees work 2 scheduled 12-hour day shifts per week, while full-time employees work 3 scheduled 12-hour day shifts per week.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care
- Current BLS/CPR and First Aid Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Ability to safely lift and assist individuals up to 50 pounds
- Must successfully complete an AHCA Level 2 Background Screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for higher-acuity individuals preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and activities of daily living
- Provide compassionate care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and higher-acuity needs
- Accurately document care and communicate changes with the healthcare team
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
